Plainfield City Council Approves Sewage Upgrades and Preparation for Annexations – Hendricks County ICON – Web Edition

Plainfield City Council met on October 25 for a regular council meeting. The meeting took place in person and live. WHAT HAPPENED: The council approved a resolution setting a date for the public hearing regarding the annexation of the property: Redbird Group Phase 1.

WHAT THIS MEANS: This property consists of several parcels along South County Road 675 East, Elm Drive, West Main Street and South County Road 600 South, covering an area of ​​153,414 acres. Council will hold this public hearing at 7:00 p.m. on November 22 at the regular council meeting.

WHAT HAPPENED: The council passed six ordinances on first reading that would annex and form part of the city.

WHAT THIS MEANS: These proposed annexations include Medallion Meadows at 2478 Medallion Court and 10047 Medallion Court; Friendswood Phase 2 at 10801 E. CR 700 S .; Avalon North, Lambert Annexation Phase 2 on the north side of Gibbs Road at the intersection with Saratoga Parkway; Vanbibber property at 5311 Gibbs Road; Willman Lake at 7297 Willman Drive; and Charter Oaks at 8954 Claren Drive.
