The town of Fontana will be hosting its “Let’s Go on the Trail” health and safety exhibit on Saturday October 9th.
The free, family-friendly event will take place from 9 a.m. to noon downtown.
There will be opportunities for physical activity, tours of the police and fire hall, and live demonstrations.
Let’s Move on the Trail will provide information and resources that will allow residents to assess their health beyond better nutrition and physical activity.
Every year Healthy Fontana, Fontana PD and Fire Station 71 team up to bring the community to this event.
Let’s Move on the Trail will begin with a walk / run / bike / ride along the Pacific Electric Trail at 9 a.m.
Throughout the day, attendees can participate by visiting an array of vendor booths including American Cancer Society Action Network, Burrtec Waste Industries, Mother’s Nutritional Center, Reach Out, REI, and more.
All activities will be centered around the Miller Park Amphitheater, 17002 Arrow Boulevard.
